Heidi oversees many different segments of the human resources department. Her responsibilities include recruiting new employees, onboarding, employee relations, ensuring equal opportunity compliance, and administering affirmative action plans.

She also oversees various aspects of payroll, including certified payroll, and ensures that we’re in compliance with federal and state guidelines regarding the small business subcontractors we work with.

Expertise

Heidi has over 23 years of experience in human resources and has worked at Harry Pepper for over 13 years. In her time with us, she has gone from HR manager to director of HR.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in human resources from Southern New Hampshire University and has been a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) for over 20 years and the American Payroll Association for ten years.

The Personal Side

Heidi loves spending time with her granddaughter. She also enjoys camping and traveling around the country. So far, her two favorite places to visit are New York City and the Florida Keys.
