Senior Project Manager
Gilberto oversees many aspects of our jobs, including reviewing and fully understanding each project’s contract, drawings, and technical specifications.
He is the primary lead in maintaining a healthy relationship with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. He also reviews and approves owner and subcontractor billings and change orders. As part of the new projects estimating team, he monitors and develops the monthly cost analysis.
Gilberto has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. He began his career in Puerto Rico as a resident engineer at Greiner Caribe & URS Corp. Since then, he has held positions as a project engineer, construction division manager, resident manager, project manager, and now senior project manager.
He has been with Harry Pepper since 2015 and has been the lead on several notable projects in the Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Martin County areas.
Gilberto holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in construction management from the University of Puerto Rico. He has a Puerto Rico project engineer license and a Florida general contractor’s license. His training includes documentation for construction disputes, EPA SWPPP permitting, Primavera P3c scheduling, and OSHA field/construction safety.
Gilberto enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is also an avid outdoorsman who can usually be found riding a motorcycle, bicycling, or at the beach.
