Project Description

This Design-Build services project included construction services for a command and control building addition to the South Florida Water Management District’s existing pump station S-331. The additions provide remote control and monitoring by microwave tower and fiber optic cables to three existing local pump stations. Construction included four microwave towers (100’, 120’, 190’, 220’) and two microwave equipment buildings two with standby generators. Microwave links were installed from three local pump stations to a hub at Pump Station S-331. Also included were installing building enclosures to provide severe weather protection and noise reduction to existing pump stations S-332B, S-332C, 356.
