Project Description:

The work consists of construction of a 1,750 cfs self-priming pumping station structure with a six-bay configuration utilizing conventional vertical steel pumps driven by horizontal soft-start induction motors and right angle gear reducers. This includes all the electrical and mechanical equipment along with the building features specified. Included in the work is about 600 feet of inlet channel, outlet structure, reservoir, access road, and all related appurtenances, electrical utility study (to be prepared by Entergy Arkansas, Inc.) and portion (s) of electrical services for supplying power for the pumping station.

The clearing and disposal of debris therefrom; furnishing and placing of filter and riprap; turfing; and environmental protection.
